Matt Nigro

It was a confident feeling giving the ball to the senior left-handed pitcher this season given the result he produced. … Nigro went 3-1 on the mound with a miniscule 1.33 ERA. … Showed terrific control by walking only two batters in 20 innings. … Picked up wins over Foxboro, Sharon and Stoughton. … Earned Hockomock League All-Star honors. ... Most memorable season moment was pitching against North Attleboro. ... Will be attending Curry College in the fall. ...  “Matt was our most consistent and reliable starting pitcher. He competed for every out and was excellent at limiting runners and helping us win ball games,” said OA coach Joe Abarr.

Jadon Ricci
Forced to play shortstop due to an injury during football season, the senior captain thrived at his new position. … Also swung a potent bat, hitting .404 with 11 RBI and 15 runs scored. … For his effort, he received Hockomock League All-Star honors. … Most memorable season moment was beating Canton on senior day. ... Will attend American International College and study sports management. ... “He was a leader on and off the field and got huge outs for us throughout the year at shortstop and became one of our most clutch hitters,” said OA coach Joe Abarr.
