2020 Oliver Ames Baseball Captains

Jacob Levine
Captain - Senior
Jacob has spent his past three seasons on varsity baseball, qualifying for the state tournament all three years. Jacob began his career at Oliver Ames as a catcher, but after his freshman year he has moved primarily over to first base. His favorite memory is the sophomore year playoff run.

Jacob had a very extensive baseball career. He played for the Pirates under Marty Weiner. He also enjoyed playing for Giants Futures for 3 years and Nokona for 1 year. He also played for American Legion for 2 years. Levine participated in the 17u Perfect Game World Series in LakePoint, Georgia.

Jacob dedicated his time off the field to coaching and guiding the Giants 10u team, where he led the team to an abundance of success; the team is 89th in the country, accomplishing the notable triumph of winning the EBL championships. Jacob spends his time outside of baseball relacing baseball gloves. He will be continuing his baseball and academic career at his father's alma mater Oswego State University.

Cam Perron
Captain - Senior
Cameron has been a 3 year varsity player for the team. He first came in as a pitcher his sophomore year and closed out a game against the bulldogs. He then quickly came into his junior year playing a vital role as a third baseman, and helped the team make a deep run into the playoffs with big times hits.

Cam was a member of the Red Sox in the EYBL league, where he went to 2 championships, one of these which he had won. Cam had some of his best memories playing summer besides his co-captain and teammates, fighting against Stoughton year after year. He also played AAU for the East Coast Eagles throughout his little league career, where he went to Cooperstown twice. He helped his team reach the semifinals at All-Star Village as an 11 year old, and go into the playoffs as the 1 seed when he was age 12. He then went on to sharpen his skills as he got into Highschool playing for the Giant Futures.

Cam has been a 3 sport athlete throughout highschool, playing Baseball, Football, and Hockey. He was elected for both captain of Baseball and Football as a senior. He will be going off to Providence College in the fall to study finance.
