Ryan O'Shea
Captain - Senior

Since he was 5 years old, Ryan has been playing baseball in Easton. He played for the Phillies and was on the EYBL all-star teams every year. After Little League, Ryan went on to play for travel baseball teams, including Mass Pride and Nokona USA Baseball, and he also participated in Babe Ruth for one year on the White Sox. Ryan played tournaments for the Indiana Prospects team last summer in Florida and Georgia. He made the OA Varsity team as a freshman, but also saw some time on the JV and freshman teams. Ryan was the only sophomore named to the Hockomock All-Star team two years ago and led the league in ERA. Ryan was named captain last year in his junior season. As a senior, he is looking forward to making another run at a state title.

Matt Harding
Captain - Senior

Matt an all around athlete who participates in Cross Country Wrestling & Baseball has made his mark as an Oliver Ames Varsity Baseball player. Matt an avid baseball player has been playing baseball since he was six years old in Easton. Matt has played on various EYBL teams, Babe Ruth, All Star teams while playing consecutively for AAU travel teams. Matt won the EYBL homerun derby. In high school Matt was a pitcher and catcher on the freshman team his freshman year at Oliver Ames. In his sophomore year he established his presence as a designator hitter with 4 game winning hits in the O.A. Hockomock League Champions Tiger’s season. As a junior Matt was the varsity full time catcher as well as a clean up hitter. The senior captain hopes to reach his high expectations to win the state title. Matt is also a two time captain of the wrestling team breaking records for most career; pins, wins, points, and also placing 8th at all-states were he hopes to win a state title as well.

Jim Sullivan
Captain - Senior

Jim’s baseball career began at a very early age in the backyard playing catch with his dad. In a short time, organized baseball became an important part of his life. Being elected a senior captain of the Oliver Ames baseball team is an honor that he has worked hard towards attaining and a role that he takes seriously. Prior to moving to Easton, Jim was a three-season baseball player and was elected to several all-star teams during these years. After moving to Easton he played for the Orioles in the Easton Little League and continued to play all-star baseball. After little league in Easton, Jim played travel baseball with the Mass Pride Baseball Club and more recently the East Coast Eagles. In addition to baseball, Jim has played hockey for Oliver Ames and was a senior captain of the Oliver Ames Cross Country team where he was a Hockomock League All-Star and named an Enterprise All-Scholastic Athlete. During his junior season, Jim played second base for OA and looks to return to this position for his senior year. Jim realizes that this will be his last time playing alongside the guys he has learned the game with and hopes to lead this family far into the state tournament.

David MacKinnon
Captain - Junior

David has been playing organized baseball in Easton since he was 4. He came through the Easton Little League Baseball System and was drafted to the Pirates as a ten year old. He helped win three championships while in little league. He played babe ruth in 7th and 8th grade and won the title in 7th grade on the Giants. In 7th, 8th, and 9th grade he played AAU for Mass Pride and East Coast Eagles placing second in New England twice. Last year he attended a Perfect Game Showcase and was named one of the 5 top prospects there. He made varsity as a freshman and started in left field hitting 2nd. He moved to short as a sophomore hitting 3rd. David is also a two time soccer captain and was voted to the All State soccer team as a goalie. He is also a member of the National Honor Society.
